Definitions:

Resident DJ A DJ with a flyer Listed on the website naming them as an OLDSKOOL UK Resident DJ at.

Guest DJ A DJ who broadcasts on an adhoc basis for the station but is not listed on the site as a resident.

Broadcast Requirements All DJs:

Each show broadcast on OLDSKOOL UK shall be for a minimum of 1hour.
Each DJ will be provided access to enable broadcast on the station.
1. Under no circumstances shall login details provided to you for the purpose of broadcasting on the station be passed on to a 3rd party, including other DJs, unless authorised by the station administrator.
2. Under no circumstances must a key be passed on to a 3rd party, including other DJs, unless authorised by the station administrator.

Broadcast Requirements Resident DJs:

Each Resident DJ is required to p meet the following performance requirements:
1. Each Resident DJ shall perform for a minimum of 8hrs per month, with a minimum of 1hr each week.
  1. Exceptions to this are permitted but requests for exceptions must be made to the station admin 1 week in advance.
2. Resident DJs who do not have regular weekly slots shall inform the station administrator no later than 7pm each Sunday of their requested schedule slots for the coming week.

  2. Failure to submit schedule times shall result in a caution
3. Resident DJs not achieving the required broadcast quota will be cautioned, 3 cautions will result in removal of Resident DJ Status and will revert to Guest DJ Status.

Media Usage:

Each stream shall have the OLDSKOOL UK logo located on the stream page so it is visible to the viewer.
1. A media pack containing logos for the station is located at http://www.oldskool.uk/marketingpack.zip
2. Default Site layouts are available for use in the media pack and can be imported directly to OBS Studio.
3. Screen layouts can be customised by each DJ but you are required to display the OLDSKOOL UK on each screen during your broadcast.
4. Use of OLDSKOOL UK Media is not permitted outside of official OLDSKOOL UK promotions unless approved by the station administrator in advance.
Each station broadcast will be recorded and where possible stored on the following media platforms: Facebook Live, Twitch, YouTube, Mixcloud, TuneIn, Hearthis.at
1. Additional platforms may be added over time.
2. Availability of recorded broadcast is at the discretion of the station administrator.
3. Older content maybe removed without notice to ensure space is always so newer material is always available to listeners.

NOTE: If you want to keep your streams long term save them and upload to your own media pages.

Code of Conduct:

While OLDSKOOL UK are all about fun and enjoyment we have a zero tolerance towards any forms of bullying and harassment towards our listeners or fellow DJs. DJs will be exited from the station if they are found to be harassing or bullying listeners or fellow DJs either directly in person or indirectly through the use of social media platforms.

DJs are also expected to ensure that chat is moderated during their streams and that any form or harassment or bullying is addressed by warning listeners, deleting messages. Persistent offenders should be kicked or blocked from the stream where the behaviour persists.

DJ Exit Policy:

Any DJ who no longer wishes to be associated to OLDSKOOL UK can inform the station administrator of their desire to leave the station.
1. Each DJ will be given 24 hours to download any of their broadcasts on the station from the social media platforms. After this time OLDSKOOL UK reserves the right to remove recordings belonging to DJs no longer associated with the station.
2. Any material that a DJ is unable to download due to restriction in account access can apply to the station administrator to request a copy.
